The Sequence

01Install toilet2–4 hrs Set up UDDT or bucket system. Ensure ventilation (fan + exhaust vent).
02Cover protocol30 sec/use After each use, 1–2 cups sawdust. Controls odor, starts C:N balancing.
03Collection rotationweekly When full, seal and carry to outdoor bay. Cover with carbon material.
04Hot composting3–6 months Monitor temp. Target 131F+ for 3+ days. Turn pile for even heating.
05Aging6–12 months Transfer to curing bay. Age 6+ additional months. 12 months total.

Coarse material (small branches, stems) goes to The Sanctum for hot composting; the resulting compost returns to the hedgerow base in fall, closing the loop. Finest material (leaves, herbaceous trim) can also go to the Worm Bank.
