A Door — help without commitment
The Apartment Door
No yard. No shed. Maybe a landlord. You can still close a few loops — windowsill food, kitchen scraps to soil, and a mesh node that does not need a tower.
Many Arks are built on acreage. Yours does not have to be. The apartment-scale entry set is deliberately small-footprint: jars on a sill, a stackable worm bin, a palm-sized radio that talks without the cell network. The goal is not self-sufficiency in a studio. The goal is competence — proof that the household can produce, recycle, and signal without permission from a big system.
If a rig needs a yard, it will say so on its page. Everything linked here assumes a windowsill, a closet, or a counter is enough.
Build one of these first
Each is a published rig with a full Manifest and Sequence. Print the sequence; work it at the bench. Nothing here replaces crisis services — it is the practical layer you can own.
These rigs do not make a full Ark. They are the honest first three moves when land is not available. When you have a yard later, Grow and Tend open wider.
